Home Details

For over 20 years, Knowsley House has been a nurturing haven for children aged 10-18, providing a safe and supportive environment for mixed-gender children and young people. Our large, detached home is situated on a quiet residential street, complete with a spacious back garden perfect for outdoor activities.

Prime Location and Excellent Facilities

Our home offers easy access to a variety of local amenities designed to meet the diverse needs of our children. This includes MAPS for emotional regulation support and a range of highly-rated schools. We also have a specialized classroom in a separate building, offering tailored tutoring for children who are not currently attending school. Our bespoke packages ensure that each child’s unique needs are met.

Knowsley House boasts excellent links with local schools and a deep understanding of the local educational offerings. For those looking towards higher education, Sheffield University is within reach, providing further opportunities for our young people.

Our team is diverse, fun, and experienced in supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties (EBD) and those who are part of the LGBTQ+ community. We have a dedicated recreational therapist who organizes engaging activities, ensuring a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. Our large living room is perfect for movie nights and other group activities. Dom Holt

Home Manager

Joined in 2024. Dominic has worked with children with emotional and behaviour difficulties since 2016 including working with children who have experienced high levels of self-harm and CSE. Dominic has his level 3 in children and young people as well as his level 5 in leadership and management.
